It was amazing to witness the National Guard - Change of Responsibility between SEA Tony Whitehead and SEA John Raines.
SEA Whitehead was last year's conference guest speaker and a huge supporter of the power of Professional Organizations. He will retire with 42 years of honorable service to this great nation, the USAF, and the National Guard.
SEA John Raines has equally been a strong supporter with his time as the Army National Guard CSM. We look forward to his continued support and involvement in his new role.
NGAT was in the room to witness this historic event and we ran into TMD Leadership who were also in the space. Texas was represented.

The National Guard Association of Texas (NGAT) was founded in 1959 on the principle that it is important to have an organization speak out for the Texas National Guard and its members. Today, NGAT is a non-profit veterans organization of over 35,000 current, former, and retired Texas Military Forces members organized for the following purposes:
To promote and support adequate national security.
To foster and improve the Texas National Guard and the National Guard of the United States as a component of the Armed Forces of the United States.
To preserve and perpetuate the history and tradition of the Texas Military Forces.
